Nicole
Issa

Nicole Issa is an Indie-pop singer, songwriter, and session vocalist born and raised in Sydney, Australia. Starting from humble beginnings busking and performing around the Sydney live music scene, Nicole began to pick up traction when it came to her musicality and songwriting. This brought her to work with council organisations (Blacktown Youth Services Association) writing songs for their youth campaigns. 'Relevant' was created to bring awareness for domestic violence victims and currently has over 70 000 views on youtube.

Alongside songwriting, Nicole has undertaken singing backing vocals professionally, performing alongside Australian artist Odette's Sydney and Melbourne shows, Triple J's Like a Version (Magnolia; Gangs of Youth cover), Triple J's Live at the Wireless (Corner Hotel in Melbourne alongside Gretta Ray) and Splendour in the Grass 2019. This taste of the industry has led Nicole to focus on her career as a Solo Artist.

Recently Nicole was selected as a finalist in the X-Change Songs program, a songwriting mentorship curated by Lynley White Smith (Operations Manager, Studios 301). During this experience, she worked collaboratively alongside other talents including A.Girl, JamarzonMarz, Mr. Rhodes, ANGE, and ALPHAMAMA.

"I just want to write my truth and have people hear my story. I hope this small part of my story brings joy to other people lives"

Nicole is an artist to keep an eye out for in 2021 as she embarks on a journey to release her debut single "Home".

Gemma
Navarrete

Gemma Navarrete is a Western Sydney based musician who creates RnB /pop infused music with concise, poetic lyrics that depict the clunky transition from adolescent to adult. Beginning her music journey at 10 years old, Gemma was adamant that music was her calling after no other hobby fulfilled her as singing and songwriting did. Drawing from influences such as Ariana Grande, Snoh Aalegra and UMI, the songstress intends to create a refreshingly new sound which holds a sense of nostalgia and adolescence. Debuting with her single “Older,” the songstress intends to continue to release music which speaks to the optimist in all of us

Romanie-01+copy.png

Originally from Belgium, Melbourne-based Romanie is an Indie artist that has captured the ears of many with her newest EP, 'Little Big Steps'.
Inspired by the sounds of Middle Kids, Phoebe Bridgers, Billie Marten and Lucy Rose.. Romanie's music boasts a very melancholic sound, with dreamy vocals and intimate lyrics; taking you on a lyrical journey through her time finding home in a new country.
Little Big Steps projects so many of the feelings we've all been experiencing through the pandemic in a way that's so perfect and vulnerable it's as if she plucked it from the depths of our own hearts.

Join us this Friday as we chat & celebrate her new EP with a Live Session on Twich
